Belt it out!

Belts can be scary creatures.

When done right, they elevate an outfit and make it look chic.

But when done wrong, it can look like it is a serpent eating your midsection.

This is particularly true if you have a large bust.

There’s not enough of a space in between your bust and your waist.

Alessandra wore a big belt and it could have looked a lot worse, but the skirt was short, and it belted to look like an empire waist.

I would have preferred SOME space between the bust and the belt, but you can’t win them all.

Jessica Simpson rocks it out here with a big bust.

And she doesn’t look disproportionate.

Reese embraces her wild side with a animal print belt, matching her shoes (not something I’m a fan of).

But it elevates a plain white dress to something different.

Miss Dirrty herself plays it chic with a belt around her cardigan and a skull scarf to give it a bit of edge.

You can also add a little belt to a coat to update it.

Just remove the belt that came with the coat, and belt a different one through for a quick update.

Or add it to a dress.

The black belt here helps show a definition between the top and the skirt, tying the look together.

And, it’s belted with a tie, rather than through the actual belt loops.

Play with the belt, and come up with different combinations that work for your body.

Thanks for passing on the love: :D
