I am a huge Mat & Nat fan.
I love their mission to try and make beautiful, luxurious bags out of recyclables.
For example, this is one of their latest commitments in their Mat and Nat line:
ALL LININGS ARE MADE FROM RECYCLED PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES.
A MESSAGE INSIDE OF EACH BAG WILL LET YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW MANY BOTTLES WERE RECYCLED TO PRODUCE YOUR ACCESSORY.
…. but most of all, I love their bags.
Big.
Beautiful.
Bold.
So what’s the difference between Mat & Nat and Samsara?
Mat & Nat is now considered the high-end, chic, Holt Renfrew line.
But Samsara is where I am at!
It’s an entry level price range for Mat & Nat with retail points from $25-$155 (the most I’d ever spend for a bag anyway).
I snagged all of their bags on sale!
Mostly at Winners.
I own no less than 3 Mat & Nat Products, and only one bag from their lower-priced Samsara line.
Mat & Nat Silver Japanese Paper (Unknown Name) Bag
Matching Mat & Nat Japanese Paper Silver Clutch
Mat & Nat “Dirty Harry” Laptop Bag in a light Blue
(I guess it’s from their men’s line, but I don’t care)
I do find it VERY thin, in that it has no padding whatsoever for a laptop.
I need to put a sleeve over my laptop to carry it in this bag.
And from their Samsara line, their Large Red Vaughn Pebble Bag
Can I just say how much love I have for their line, especially the Red Vaughn Bag?
The straps are huge and thick, and they grip to my shoulder especially nicely.
I don’t care for the zipper (a bit too sharp, it almost cuts your hand), but the space is GREAT.
And, it’s vegan leather. So it isn’t butter soft, but it doesn’t feel like those cheap plastic leathers.
So why am I posting about all of this gorgeousness?
Because they are HAVING A SALE RIGHT NOW!
The exact bag I have up there is going for $93 CAD.
Samsara…
…and Mat & Nat
