Everyone has a style uniform.
It’s their personal style of what they like to wear.
It can be colour: wearing all black, or like me, not wearing black at all.
Look at the girls from “Sex and the City”.
Their styles are exactly what they’re wearing.
Carrie is eclectic (which is also considered a uniform)
Miranda is corporate.
Charlotte is conservative.
Samantha is sexy.
Or it can be the items themselves: always in heels and never in flats, or always wearing a dress.
I have a couple of simple style uniforms I stick to:

- Jeans tucked into Boots with any kind of top with a jacket or sweater
- Pants with a low to flat heel with any kind of top with a jacket or sweater
- Wrap dresses with ballet flats, boots or low heels with a jacket or sweater
- Separates: Skirts and tops with a jacket or sweater
What I don’t wear as my style uniform:
- Leggings as pants
- Short skirts (anything above 3″ of the knee is short for me)
- Very shiny/sparkly clothing unless it’s one element
- All black outfits
- Very frilly, ruffly, consume-your-body styles
- Matchy-Matchy outfits
- Ripped, fringed, shredded or torn anything
- Any kind of Shorts, Clam diggers or Cropped pants
- Baggy anything that doesn’t show my shape
- Super tight, low-cut, revealing clothing
- Turtlenecks
And I’d spice up my simple white tank top and jeans with:
- Accessories
- Shoes — I wear a low to medium heel (2″ is my highest).
- Belts
- Sunglasses
The eclectic uniform is all the uniforms.
Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City” reveals that she’ll pretty much wear anything except a corporate suit.
And she always spices it up with something interesting (like a magazine clutch with that simple blue dress)
